Today I received the poured bronze sculpture I've been working on for months.  This is from the "Misery Is The River Of The World," painting and is as of yet untitled.  I like the working title of, "The Damned On The River Styx."  I have a beautiful piece of gnarled old drift wood acquired from the Old Town Aquarium on Wells to be varnished.  This will be worked into the underside of the boat as a stand, but it will look like the bottom of the river below.  The bronze was poured by Marshall Svendsen (trueformproductions.com) in three different pieces.  Somehow I will have to put a finish on the metal, I'm not sure exactly how I will do that yet.  Adventure begins again...

This is Jackson Junge Gallery on Milwaukee Ave. at Wood St.  Currently "The Rat Race" is showcasing front and center.  Stop in if you're in the hood.  They have lots of great art and Chris Jackson is a superb framer with really good prices.
To begin with, it is not a matter of whether or not he left the seat up.  There's no birth-given right to being able to waltz into the pisser and just plop down and let it all run out.  Each of us, man and woman alike, are bound by physics and sensibility to each be sure to close the lid of the toilet seat before flushing.
